Product Description

The resilient seated butterfly valve features a 2-way configuration with an 8-inch pipe connection size, ideal for managing chilled or hot water systems. The valve operates with a modulating control signal and is equipped with an electronic fail-safe actuator (MBE7U7BH/U), which meets NEMA 4X IP66/67 standards and includes a heater for optimal performance.

Constructed from a polyester powder coated ductile iron body (ASTM A536), it includes a 420 stainless steel valve stem and a 304 stainless steel valve disc. The EPDM valve seat ensures reliable sealing, achieving a leakage rate of 0% and a rangeability ratio of 10:1. It is designed for a maximum operating pressure of 232 psi (1600 kPa) and can handle media temperatures up to 250 °F (121 °C).

For installation, it utilizes ANSI Class 125/150 flange compatible connections featuring 8 flange bolts with a size of 0.750 in. Please note that this valve is not suitable for use with steam or fuels, and its operating ambient temperature range is from -22 °F (-30 °C) to 122 °F (50 °C). The valve's flow characteristic is modified equal percentage, and it has a flow coefficient of 1202 CV (1040 Kvs). The designation code for this valve is VR2M7UEBH/M.
