Product Description

This 3-way butterfly valve features a 4-inch pipe connection and operates efficiently within chilled and hot water systems, including applications with up to 60% glycol. The valve body is constructed from epoxy powder coated ductile iron (ASTM A536), ensuring durability, while the valve stem is made of 416 stainless steel. For optimal performance, it is equipped with a fail-in-place actuator (MBP7U6BH/U), rated for NEMA 4X IP66/67 and includes a heater.

With a maximum operating pressure of 232 psi (1600 kPa) and a maximum media temperature of 250 °F (121 °C), this valve is engineered for reliability in demanding environments. It operates with a 10:1 rangeability ratio and has a leakage rate of 0%. The valve is compatible with ANSI Class 125/150 flanges and is manually operable via a 7 mm hex crank.

It is important to note that this valve is not suitable for steam or fuel media. The valve starts in the Port A Normally Closed position and is controlled via a modulating actuator control signal. This valve configuration is governed by CE and cULus regulatory approvals.
