Product Description

The butterfly valve is designed for versatile applications in chilled, hot, or cooling tower water systems, and supports two-position steam control up to 50 psi. With a pipe connection size of 4 inches, it is classified under ASME/ANSI Class 150 and includes a fail-in-place actuator with NEMA 4X IP66/67 rating.

Constructed with a carbon steel body and a valve disc made of 316 stainless steel, the valve ensures durability and reliability in demanding environments. The valve also incorporates RTFE seat material for enhanced sealing capabilities, maintaining a leakage rate of 0%. The valve's rangeability ratio is 100:1, providing precise control over flow characteristics, which are modified linear and unidirectional.

Operating temperatures range from -22 °F to 400 °F (-30 °C to 204 °C), with a maximum differential pressure rating of 150 psi (1034 kPa). The actuator control signal can be configured for two-position or floating operation, making it adaptable to various control systems. Note that this valve is not suitable for use with fuels or modulating steam, ensuring it is specifically tailored for its intended applications.
