Product Description
This 3-way butterfly valve is engineered for applications involving chilled and hot water systems, as well as cooling towers. It supports modulating control for efficient operation and is also applicable for two-position steam applications with a maximum pressure of 50 psi. The valve features a flanged pipe connection type and is constructed from durable materials, including a carbon steel body and a 316 stainless steel disc.
The valve operates with a rangeability ratio of 100:1 and can handle media temperatures up to 400 °F (204 °C). It is designed with a normally closed start position and incorporates an actuator that provides a modulating control signal. The actuator is a fail-in-place type, rated NEMA 4X with IP66/67 protection, ensuring reliable operation in various environments.
This valve is suitable for applications not involving fuels or modulating steam and is capable of handling water media with up to 60% glycol. With a maximum differential pressure rating of 150 psi (1034 kPa), it ensures safety and reliability in operation.
