Product Description

The 3-way butterfly valve is engineered for versatile applications involving chilled, hot, or cooling tower water systems, as well as steam applications at pressures up to 50 psi. With a pipe connection size of 8 inches, this valve is suitable for a range of environments, featuring a valve body made from carbon steel and a valve disc constructed from 316 stainless steel.

This model, designated as CL150, utilizes a hand wheel for manual operation and meets ASME/ANSI Class 150 standards. It is equipped with a fail-in-place actuator (MBP6L9SH/U) that operates with a 75% duty cycle and is rated NEMA 4X IP66/67, which includes a heater for enhanced reliability. The valve operates effectively within a temperature range of -22 °F to 400 °F and can handle a maximum differential pressure of 150 psi (1034 kPa).

The valve's flow characteristic is modified linear and unidirectional, achieving a flow coefficient of 1135 CV (982 Kvs). Additionally, it has a leakage rate of 0% and is not suitable for use with fuels or modulating steam. The valve's stem is made from 17-4 PH stainless steel and the seat material is RTFE, ensuring durability and performance.
