Littelfuse TMOV34S301EP
- TMOV34S Series Thermally Protected Varistor
Product Description
The TMOV34S Series thermally protected varistor is a specialized component intended for over-voltage circuit protection. Featuring a 34mm square format, this varistor incorporates a thermally activated element that disconnects the device in cases of overheating caused by excessive voltage or limited current. This design provides rapid thermal response owing to the thermal element's proximity to the varistor body.
Additionally, select TMOV34S devices include a monitor lead that can be integrated with signaling circuitry, allowing for monitoring of the varistor's operational status. The integrated design not only enhances thermal response but also reduces inductance compared to traditional discrete solutions, leading to superior clamping performance during fast over-voltage transients. The TMOV34S Series is currently pending UL1449 3rd Edition approval for its innovative thermal element features. For further inquiries or alternative options, consultation with a product representative is recommended.
