Product Description
The sensor is designed with a detection range of 7 to 20 mm, extending up to a maximum of 25 mm, while background suppression activates starting at 25 mm. Utilizing a modulated visible red light source at 660 nm, it offers a precise black-white difference of approximately 1 mm. The diameter of the light spot at 20 mm is around 1.5 mm, and the sensor operates within an opening angle of about 5 degrees.
With an ambient light limit exceeding 40,000 Lux for continuous light and 5,000 Lux for modulated light, this sensor is reliable in various lighting conditions. It adheres to the product standard EN 60947-5-2, and its mechanical specifications include a degree of protection rated at IP67/IP69K, ensuring durability against dust and water ingress.
The sensor is equipped with two push-pull outputs that are complementary, short-circuit proof, and reverse polarity protected, supporting a maximum switching voltage of 30 V DC and a switching current of up to 100 mA. The response time is 0.5 ms, with a switching frequency of 1,000 Hz, making it suitable for high-speed applications. Furthermore, the sensor's operating voltage ranges from 10 to 30 V DC with a ripple of 10%.
In terms of environmental resilience, the sensor can function in ambient temperatures from -20 °C to 60 °C (-4 °F to 140 °F) and withstand storage temperatures as low as -20 °C and up to 75 °C (-4 °F to 167 °F).
