Product Description
Lifecycle Status:
The TeSys Island direct starter, featuring 3 poles and a capacity of 38A/690V, is designed to be connected to a TPRBC bus coupler. This combination allows for the control, protection, and monitoring of loads up to 38A and motors up to 18.5kW@400V / 20hp@480V. The starter provides motor protection functions such as thermal overload (setting 0.76-38A, tripping class 5-30), phase loss, phase unbalance and reversal, long start (stall), locked rotor (jam), rapid cycle lockout, and ground current detection.
In addition to protection, the TeSys Island motor starter also offers monitoring capabilities. It can track max/average voltages and currents, count switching cycles, record faults, and provide active and reactive power/energy when paired with a TPRVM001 voltage module. The starter is designed for easy mounting on DIN rail and is compatible with other modules in the TeSys island configuration.
The TeSys Island motor starter is multi-standard certified (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC) and complies with Green Premium standards (RoHS/REACh).
