The VZ4 is designed as an additional main pole module specifically for the TeSys Vario switch-disconnector system. It operates at a rated current of 80A and a voltage of 690V, allowing for enhanced functionality when integrated with V4 switch bodies. A maximum of three VZ4 modules can be connected to a single switch body, optimizing the system's performance.
This module meets multiple international standards, including IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, and EAC, ensuring broad compliance and suitability for various applications. It is certified as a Green Premium product, adhering to RoHS and REACH regulations, and is free from toxic heavy metals. The environmental sustainability of this product is further reinforced by its mercury-free composition and compliance with the WEEE directive for disposal in European markets.
With a compact design, the VZ4 measures 83 mm in height, 20 mm in width, and 46 mm in depth, making it suitable for various mounting locations (left or right). It features screw clamp terminals capable of accommodating both flexible and solid wires, with a tightening torque specification of 4 N·m. Its mechanical durability is rated at 30,000 cycles, while electrical durability reaches 100,000 cycles for AC-21 applications. Notably, the module provides an impulse withstand voltage of 8 kV, enhancing its reliability in demanding environments.
