The Siemens ASI A/B Slave module, part number 3RK2200-0DQ00-0AA3, is a compact and robust digital I/O module designed for field operation. This device features 8 digital inputs and is protected by an IP67-rated enclosure, ensuring reliable performance in harsh industrial environments. The module supports A/B slave configuration and offers a maximum current input of 270 mA. Each of the 8 M12 sockets is equipped with Y-II assignment, and the module requires two addresses for operation.
Designed for easy integration, the module utilizes M12 screw-type terminals for electrical connections and supports both 2- and 3-wire technology. The input circuit is based on PNP transistors, and the sensor supply is short-circuit and overload resistant, providing a stable and secure connection for sensors.
The module's addressing is facilitated through a front addressing socket, and it features clear status displays with yellow LEDs for I/O status and green/red LEDs for AS-Interface diagnostics. The module operates within a voltage range of 26.5 to 31.6 V according to AS-Interface specifications and can withstand ambient temperatures from -25 to +85 °C during operation.
