Product Description

The PSR12-600-70 softstarter is designed for applications requiring a rated maximum operational current of 12 A. It operates within a voltage span of 208 to 600 V AC, with a control voltage range of 100 to 240 V AC at 50/60 Hz.

The PSR softstarter features a two-phase control soft start and stop through a voltage ramp. It includes built-in bypass for easy installation and energy saving. The device also provides a RUN signal from a relay output in the normally open state.

The start/stop ramp and time can be easily set using three potentiometers on the front of the unit. This softstarter is often used in combination with a manual motor starter (MMS) from ABB, and mechanical connection kits are available for this purpose.

Another popular option is Fieldbus communication, which can be enabled by an external adaptor and a Fieldbus plug. The PSR range represents our most compact softstarters with basic functionality and values. They are suitable for small three-phase motors with nominal currents from 3 to 105 A and can manage up to 100 starts per hour.

Common applications include pumps, fans, compressors, and conveyors.
