Product Description
The PSE60-600-70 Softstarter, manufactured by ABB, is a robust and reliable device designed for controlling and starting three-phase motors. It boasts a rated maximum operational current of 60 A with an operating voltage range from 208 to 600 V AC.
The softstarter features a two-phase control with a soft start and stop through a voltage or torque ramp, ensuring smooth operation and energy efficiency. It also offers built-in bypass for easy installation and various protection functions such as current limit, kickstart, analog output, EOL (end of life), underload, and locked rotor protection.
The PSE60-600-70 Softstarter is equipped with an illuminated display that uses symbols to become language neutral. It can be controlled via hardwire inputs Start/Stop or by Reset of fault, or through the built-in fieldbus communication Modbus RTU. An external adaptor and a Fieldbus plug are also available for communication purposes.
This softstarter is an ideal choice for small to medium-sized three-phase motors with nominal currents from 18 to 370 A. It is suitable for applications such as pumps, fans, compressors, and conveyors.
