Product Description

The IO-Link temperature module facilitates the measurement of PT100 and PT1000 sensors, along with thermocouples types J and K, all within a single unit. This module supports an operating voltage range of 18 to 30 V DC and features a current consumption of less than 50 mA. With a precision analogue input of ± 0.3%, the device is capable of measuring temperatures from -200 to 1370 °C for thermocouple type K.

Integrating seamlessly into industrial settings, the module is built to withstand harsh conditions with a protection rating of IP 65 and IP 67, as well as compliance with NEMA 250 6P standards. The ambient temperature operating range is -25 to 60 °C, and it can be stored at temperatures as low as -25 °C and up to 70 °C. With a maximum relative humidity of 90% and an altitude capability of 2000 m, it is well-suited for various applications.

Communication is conducted through IO-Link, utilizing COM3 transmission at 230.4 kBaud with a minimum process cycle time of 4 ms. This module is compliant with IEC 61131-9 standards and includes profiles for smart sensors, allowing for identification, diagnostics, and quantity detection functionalities. The mechanical structure features a rectangular housing made of PA orange, ensuring durability, and it is mounted via backplane. Weighing approximately 347 g, this module is equipped with multiple LEDs for operational, fault, and function status indications.
