Lifecycle Status:
The AC Surge Protection Device (Type 1) is designed to safeguard the entire AC power system in a home from surges that could impact home electronics and appliances. This compact device is specifically engineered for use on 120/240 VAC single phase, 3 wire systems with an isolated ground. It offers 25 kA of short circuit protection and 80 kA of surge protection per phase.
The device comes in a NEMA 4X housing and is UL listed. With dimensions of 3.23 inches tall, 3.72 inches wide, and 2.10 inches deep, it is designed to be unobtrusive while providing essential protection. This surge protection device is ideal for protecting AC wires in the home from surges that could affect appliances not connected to surge strips.
