Product Description
The PSR45-600-70 Softstarter offers a rated maximum operational current of 45 A, with an operating voltage span from 208 V to 600 V AC. The control voltage is set between 100 V and 240 V AC at 50/60 Hz. This device features a two-phase control soft start and stop through a voltage ramp, ensuring smooth motor operation.
The PSR45-600-70 Softstarter comes with built-in bypass for easy installation and energy saving. It also provides a RUN and a TOR signal from a relay output in NO (normally open state). The start/stop ramp and time can be easily set using three potentiometers on the front.
This softstarter is often used in combination with a manual motor starter (MMS) from ABB, and mechanical connection kits are available. Alternatively, Fieldbus communication can be enabled by an external adaptor and a Fieldbus plug. The PSR range is our most compact softstarters with basic functionality and values, suitable for small three-phase motors with nominal currents from 3 to 105 A and capable of managing up to 100 starts per hour.
Common applications include pumps, fans, compressors, and conveyors. The PSR45-600-70 Softstarter is a reliable choice for industrial automation systems requiring smooth motor operation and energy efficiency.
