Lifecycle Status:
The Schneider Electric TeSys GV4 Motor Circuit Breaker is a robust solution designed to protect 3-phase motors ranging from 37-55kW at 400V. This circuit breaker offers thermal magnetic protection and additional motor protection functions, with a breaking capacity of Icu 25kA at 400V. It also provides start-stop control via a toggle switch, allowing for easy connection to bars or cables using lugs.
The TeSys GV4 is equipped with thermal protection that can be adjusted by dials, offering a setting current Ir in the range of 65-115A and a selectable tripping class of either 10 or 20. It also features magnetic protection at 17 In, along with additional protections such as short time delay protection Isd at 13 Ir, phase unbalance and loss protection, and ground fault protection.
This circuit breaker is multi-standard certified (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, Marine, ATEX), and complies with Green Premium standards (RoHS/REACh). It also offers internal locations for additional auxiliary contact blocks (OF, SD) and voltage trip units (MN, MX).
